GUY KIRK • LEAD

Recent stage work includes three productions of The Music Man, two at the Ritz Theatre in Oaklyn, NJ. A lifetime ago, in regional theater in PA, he played Will Parker in Oklahoma, Chino in West Side Story, as well as being in the casts of Anything Goes, No No Nanette, Little Mary Sunshine and Applause. He has served as Director of Music at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Marlton since 1986, He also teaches piano and Early Childhood Music. He and his husband, George, have resided in Collingswood since 1989. Guy has previously sung baritone in Synergy quartet for  15 years. He came on board to sing lead with RiverLine in 2017.

DAVID EPSTEIN • TENOR

David has sung in Barbershop quartets since 1986, including several competition quartets, before singing with RiverLine, in 2016. David (along with Marty and Steve) also sings in the Brothers in Harmony barbershop chorus. David was ecstatic to join his friends from RiverLine in an exciting production at The Ritz Theatre Co, in Oaklyn, NJ during the summer of 2019. At home, his singing is tolerated by his patient wife, Susan.  When not singing, David is a pediatrician in solo practice in Newark, Delaware.

MARTY ISRAEL• BARITONE

Marty has been a member of The Barbershop Harmony Society since 1971 (some think he has been a member since its inception in 1938). He has served as an arranger, coach, teacher, and judge (Arrangement and Music categories). He currently sings with the Brothers in Harmony Chorus from Hamilton Square, NJ. Previously Marty has sung in the quartet The Firm. Many of the arrangements that we sing are penned by Marty. He has performed in two productions of The Music Man (one with RiverLine and one with The Firm). In addition Marty has performed as Sid Sorokin in The Pajama Game, Daddy Warbucks in Annie and Fagin in Oliver. He lives in Monroe, NJ with his amazing wife, Dale.

STEVEN ZELLERS • BASS

Steve is a founding member of RiverLine quartet as well as previously singing in Crystal Ring, Accolade and Synergy quartets. He has been in more than twenty area productions since his 1991 Ritz Theatre debut as the bass in The Music Man barbershop quartet. He then went on to do three more productions of this show...just trying to get his part right. Local and Regional Credits include Jekyll and Hyde (Sir Danvers Carew), Annie Get Your Gun (Buffalo Bill), 1776 (Edward Rutledge), Titanic (Captain Smith), Man of La Mancha (Governor / Innkeeper), West Side StorySweeney Todd, Brigadoon, Evita, Oklahoma and Annie. Steve is also a wanna be arranger having penned more than a dozen arrangements for the quartet...none of which are being used. That either speaks to the quality of Marty's arrangements or the lack of...yes, that must be it, the quality of Marty's arrangements. Steve is the proud husband of Deb, father of two daughters, and pop pop of two grandaughters. No wonder he has retired from teaching!
